FinSafe India is a public-awareness project that creates and distributes short Hindi-language educational videos about cyber and financial fraud. Our content is published on YouTube and other social platforms for the benefit of the general public.
2. What Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data from website visitors or video viewers.
Our application uses the YouTube Data API v3 solely to manage our own YouTube channel. The only credentials we handle are OAuth 2.0 tokens issued by Google to authorize our own channel operations. These tokens are:
- Stored locally on our own server
- Never shared with third parties
- Used exclusively to upload and publish videos on our own channel
- Revocable at any time via your Google Account security settings
3. How We Use Google User Data
Our application requests access to the following Google OAuth scopes:

We use this access only to upload educational content and update video settings (title, description, tags, visibility) on our own YouTube channel. We do not access, read, store, or share any data from any other YouTube account or user.
Our use of data obtained through Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Retention
OAuth tokens are retained on our server only as long as needed to operate the channel. Tokens can be revoked at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing FinSafe India from the authorized apps list.
5. Third-Party Services
Our videos are hosted on YouTube (Google LLC). By watching our content on YouTube, you are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We have no control over data collected by YouTube or Google in connection with video playback.
6. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking scripts.
7. Children's Privacy
Our content is intended for general adult audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
